We’re unique in that we engage a working casting director to ensure your footage doesn’t just look and sound great, it’s going to position you to book the gigs you want.

A questionnaire to determine your goals for your footage/career
Formal review by a working casting director to select second to second footage that showcases you the best
Sound & Video editing by a professional audio engineer and videographer to ensure you look and sound incredible
A finalized horizontal video reel (Vertical cuts available for add-on so you can share to your IG/Tik Tok)

Courtney Mentzel
Casting Director
Courtney Mentzel (she/her/hers) is an actor, producer, casting director, puppeteer, and creative collaborator based in New York City. She has served as Plague Mask Players' Casting Director since their inception and cast all of their live shows (As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew, and Alice) and served as the Executive Producer and Casting Director for the TV series, Jammingers: An Overture of Gold and Silver, and as the Casting Associate for the feature film, Neon Days. Previous acting work includes ‘DUO’ (Green Owl) in Duolingo’s award-winning YouTube and Tiktok series ‘Living with Lily’, (2 Webby Awards, 2 Telly Awards, and 3 Shorty Awards), 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Jammingers: An Overture of Gold and Silver, Call Me Grizby, and Neon Days. Courtney holds her MFA in Acting from Brooklyn College.
Jared Cobb
Audio/Video Engineer
Jared Cobb is a multimedia artist working and living in Dallas. He has sang with Emerald City Band & Party Machine as a lead vocalist, performed in an original musical with Todrick Hall, and wrote the critically acclaimed scores for all Plague Mask Players'. Additionally, he has worked full time for international brand Neighborly as the in-house audio engineer and videographer for years.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer recording services at this time. This package is for creatives who already have their own work examples recorded and ready to edit into a sleek, professional reel.

We can’t make a video without footage, after all!
After purchase, you’ll be directed to a form to submit all your material and answer a few additional questions — things like what types of characters you want to submit for, what you’re hoping to primarily use your reel for, and so on. This information will help our team create the best possible edit to showcase your skills!
For the best possible edit, we suggest having a minimum of # OF CLIPS ready to send in (include MAX if there is one).

Mention you have to have clips to send first — we can’t offer to film for you at this time.
Then Courtney will select clips that help you meet your personal goals and the types of characters you’re wanting to submit for (and book!).
